2degrees launches Hyperfibre
From today, 2degrees customers can level up their broadband with 2Gbps and 4Gbps Hyperfibre plans.

“We are stoked to be offering the next generation of fibre speeds,” says Tanisha Singh-Shah, general manager of home at 2degrees.
“These plans are perfect for gamers, home offices, people who shift large amounts of data around, and for basically anyone who wants a super-fast plan.”
Hyperfibre 2 will cost $139 a month, and Hyperfibre 4 $169 a month, with a $10 discount offered for 2degrees pay monthly customers. At launch both come with a $100 Prezzy card, six months Prime Video, and free rental of a Orbi Hyperfibre modem.
The Orbi router features four 1Gbps LAN posts, and users can add mesh satellite units to enable further Wi-Fi coverage.
Singh-Shah said while 1Gbps services are the most popular and fastest growing fibre plan, 2degrees expects Hyperfibre to appeal to early adopters and power users.
“There’s a group of users who want and demand the best and fastest – we have two plans that will help level up their broadband experience.”
