2degrees’ New Zealand’s fastest growing technology company

For the second year in a row, 2degree’s has taken the title of ‘New Zealand’s number one fastest growing technology company’ in the Deloitte Fast50 awards. The awards, which were announced last night, also saw 2degrees place 6th in the overall annual list of fastest growing companies with growth of 536% over the last three years.

2degrees CEO Eric Hertz says the company is delighted with the result. “It’s great for the team to be recognised once again for the phenomenal growth we have achieved. Thanks to our entrepreneurial attitude and disruptive innovation, we have created value-based mobile services at market leading prices for kiwis. Our entry in to the market showed New Zealanders were ready for a better deal with over one million kiwis voting with their feet and already joining 2degrees.”

Looking ahead, Mr Hertz says the company is focused on maintaining momentum.“We will continue to invest in our network and grow the business further through smart, customer-centric products and services for our prepay and pay monthly customers, coupled with even more focus on the business market.”
