The Power of Collaboration
Our values
Building cultural capability
We recognise that to best support our communities, it’s important for us to build our cultural understanding and capability as an organisation. As a New Zealand based – and proud – organisation, we have a particular focus on Māori culture and people. In FY24 we prioritised building understanding and integrating tikanga and Te Reo Māori into 2degrees, offering extensive training to ensure our team is knowledgeable and respectful of Māori culture. Our internal Māori employee group, Te Pou Aroha, leads our efforts to integrate these elements into our business practices, helping to make our environment more inclusive for Māori employees and partners.
Fostering inclusion
Our commitment to inclusivity includes specific support for gender and sexual diversity. Initiatives like our Rainbow Tick certification (which was maintained in FY24), new Gender Affirmation Guidelines, and sponsorship of significant community events highlight our ongoing efforts to enhance inclusivity.
