As the Super network behind the NZ Super teams, this season we’re looking for each Super teams’ biggest Super fan to immortalise them into a Super fan emoji.

Only a Super fan earns the right to join the coveted Captain’s Run a day before the game*. Enjoy an exclusive opportunity to be on the sidelines, watch a training session of your favourite Super team, led by the team’s captain and even get photos with the players after training.
*Transport to the game and the stadium will be at your own cost.

Before gates open, enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime experience of walking out onto the field and touring the breadth of the stadium guided by your favourite team’s players. Tours will take place prior to the pre-selected games.

Get immortalised as a Super emoji at half time
As a Super fan, you will join the players emoji lineup and be immortalised in rugby fandom for the rest of the season, unveiled on the field at half time on game day – right up on the stadium screen. We’ll also feature your Super fan emoji across our social channels making you the talk of the town long after the game.

Swag you’ll cherish for years
Relive the experience even after the game with a jersey signed by the players of your favourite Super team. This coveted piece of rugby history can then take its place of pride in your home, serving as a legacy to your elite status as your Super teams’ biggest Super fan.

2degrees and Super Rugby (Promoters) have teamed together to bring you the Super Fan competition (Promotion) in accordance with the below.
Promotion Details
Rules
- The rules in this document (Specific Terms) apply together with the 2degrees General Competition and Giveaways Terms (Online Terms) (together, the Promotion Terms).
- Where there is any inconsistency between the Specific Terms and the Online Terms, the Specific Terms apply.
- By entering into this Promotion, you agree to the Promotion Terms and confirm that you have the necessary authority to enter into the Promotion.
Entry Period
- Entry opens on 16 February 2024 at 9am and closes on 28 April 2024 at 9am (Entry Period).
Winner Selection
- 2degrees will select 5 individuals in total, 1 per Super Rugby club (Club) and each of those entrants who is successfully contacted will be recipient of the prize (see ‘Prize’ below) (each a Winner).
- If a selected entrant does not respond to that email or phone call within 72 hours or in 2degrees’ sole discretion, any of the applicable ‘Conditions’ are not met, the selection process will repeat.
Prize
Each Winner will:
- be immortalised into a Super fan emoji; and
- be invited to a VIP game day experience at their local Super Rugby Club (selected game only)
(the Prize).
- Each Winner’s Super fan emoji will be revealed during the half-time break.
How to Enter
Website
- Entry is via www.2degrees.nz/superfan
- Entrants may enter as many times as they like via the website entry method.
- To be eligible for the Prize, entrants must fill out the relevant entry form in full during the Entry Period.
- When entering, entrants will need to tell us what makes them their Super teams biggest Super fan. They will have up to 500 characters to give their reasons for entering our competition.
Conditions
Promotion conditions include:
Entrants
- Entrants do not need to be a 2degrees customer.
- Entrants must be aged 13 and older. If you are aged between 13 and 18, you must gain your parent or guardian’s permission to enter. If the Winner is under 18, written permission will need to be obtained within the 72-hour winner selection period.
- Entrants must be residents of New Zealand.
- Each entrant understands that 2degrees may collect, hold and use each entrant personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and for the purposes of the Promotion.
Winners
- In connection with the Promotion, each Winner:
- agrees to provide a profile picture to the Promoters within 72 hours that will be used to create a Super fan emoji. Winners will not have access to view or approve the Super fan emoji prior to it being used in the Promotion. The Promoters will ensure the emoji is closely matched to the picture provided; and
- authorises any photos, recordings or other assets collected by the Promoters to be shared on the Promoters’ online platforms (such as their websites and social media channels).
- If a Winner does not agree with the above and does not provide the above information, the Winner understands that 2degrees has the right to select a new Winner for that Club. Each Winner is responsible for all additional costs incurred by the Winner (including transport and accommodation costs) in relation to the Prize.
- The Prize is non-transferable.
- The decisions of 2degrees on all matters relating to this Promotion are final and no further correspondence will be entered into. 2degrees reserves the right to verify the validity of an entry or a Winner's right to redeem the prize in accordance with the Promotion Terms.
- To the extent permitted by law, 2degrees excludes any liability it may have to you arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this Promotion.
- 2degrees reserves the right to cancel or amend this Promotion at any time.
