Eftpos Warehouse
"The nature of our work means our team, both technical and sales, are out in the field a lot and rely heavily on their mobiles," says Eftpos Warehouse Ltd's owner and Managing Director Darren Moore. "We needed a reliable network provider that could also give us certainty," he says.
Their business needs
Launched in 2011, Eftpos Warehouse Ltd are proud to have helped over 4000 small and large businesses with their merchant technology needs. With thousands of transactions carried out on its Mobile Eftpos terminals every single day, Eftpos Warehouse Ltd is extremely focused on ensuring its clients have reliable technology at all times.
Solutions
The company moved its mobile account to 2degrees after being thoroughly impressed with the reliability of the network, which it already used to provide connectivity to many of its client's Eftpos terminals via 2degrees' M2M (Machine to Machine) service.
What benefits have they seen?
"Our mobile account usage varied greatly each month which was quite difficult to manage. After switching to 2degrees' Business Connect plan, we all now share from the same pool of data and our mobile costs are fixed so we know exactly where we are at every month."
Moore says joining 2degrees has also delivered significant savings.
"We estimate our partnership with 2degrees will save us around $6,000 per year just on our mobile spend and significantly more for our M2M service."
With a large number of customers in the retail and hospitality industry, some of which operate 24/7, connectivity is vital to Eftpos Warehouse Ltd's customers.
"The nature of our business means reliability is critical. When things go wrong with the connectivity of our terminals, it costs both our clients and our business as they can't process transactions. Our credibility is also at stake as our clients rely heavily on us," he says.
"We use several mobile networks to keep our terminals online and have found 2degrees to be, by far, the most reliable and cost effective for all. As a result, we have also seen a dramatic decrease in service calls from our mobile terminal client-base – which has got to be good for business."
The company is now working with 2degrees to build in even more network redundancy (backup) for their clients.
What they love about 2degrees?
"We've been so impressed with 2degrees that we are now taking our partnership to the next level by linking some of our client's SIM cards, WIFI routers and access points in to their counter tops. Not only will this provide additional safe-guards, but also peace of mind as our clients will have further backup with 2degrees' M2M service."
Moore says 2degrees also provides an exemplary level of service.
"In an industry where customer service is everything, we have been really impressed with 2degrees. From our initial discussions, on-boarding to our subsequent day-to-day contact with the team, it has been hassle-free and a very enjoyable experience," he says.
