Data Piñata Promotion 2022 Terms and Conditions
- These terms and conditions apply (in addition to the 2degrees Prepay Terms and Conditions, Pay Monthly Terms and Conditions, and Data Clock Terms and Conditions and any other applicable terms and conditions) to Two Degrees Mobile Limited’s (2degrees) Data Piñata Promotion (Promotion).
- This Promotion commences on at 12:00am on 31 October 2022 and ends at 11:59pm on 22 January 2023 (Promotion Period).
- If during the Promotion Period you:
- have an active eligible 2degrees mobile plan;
- follow those steps set out in paragraph 4 below; and
- download and play the Data Piñata game available at datapinata.co.nz (Game),
you will be eligible for your share of 200,000 days of data.
- To play the Game, you will need to:
- go to datapinata.nz;
- enter and confirm your 2degrees mobile number;
- enter the 6 digit authentication code sent to you by 2degrees;
- allow applicable permissions on your device so you can play the interactive Game; and
- find and whack the Data Piñata to win your share of 200,000 days of data (Data Prize) – 2easy!
- Once you have successfully whacked the Data Piñata you will need to go to the 2degrees Data Clock app to redeem your Data Prize. If you do not already have the Data Clock app, you will need to download it. You will need to make sure you have the latest version of the Data Clock app in order to redeem your prize. In most cases, the Data Prize will be showing in the Data Clock app as soon as it is won, but in some cases may take up to 36 hours from winning your Data Prize.
- You have 48 hours from either winning your Data Prize or your Data Prize showing in the Data Clock app (whichever is sooner) to begin using your Data Prize. You will not be able to use it after this period.
- The full augmented reality experience of the Game will only be available on selected devices which have sufficient camera quality and processing speeds. For devices which are not sufficient, the Game will just automatically go to Data Prize confirmation. For devices which are sufficient, you will still need to allow applicable permissions in order to have the full augmented reality experience.
- If you are not a 2degrees customer, you can still play the Game, but you will not be eligible for a Data Prize until you meet those requirements set out in paragraph 3 above. Any Prize Packs shown as a potential win prior to meeting those requirements set out in paragraph 3 above will not be eligible for redemption.
- One play and Data Prize per day, per customer.
- Each Data Prize:
- can only be used in New Zealand;
- is a one off data allocation;
- is not transferrable or exchangeable; and
- cannot be taken as cash or any other form of value.
- 2degrees’ Fair Use Policy applies to each Data Prize. Max speeds will reduce to 1mbps after 40GB/m, per person. At reduced speeds, your experience will be impacted.
- 2degrees reserves the right to cancel or amend this Promotion at any time.
- 2degrees Business customers are excluded from this Promotion.
- You are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions at the time in which you play the Game.
