Data Piñata Party Promotion

1. These terms and conditions apply (in addition to the 2degrees Prepay Terms and Conditions, Pay Monthly Terms and Conditions, Data Clock Terms and Conditions and any other applicable terms and conditions) to Two Degrees Mobile Limited’s (2degrees) Data Piñata Party promotion (Data Piñata Party).
2. This promotion commences on at 12:00am on 4 November 2024 and ends at 11:59pm on 19 January 2025 (Data Piñata Party Period).
3. Everyone can play Data Piñata Party but you will need an active eligible 2degrees Consumer Pay Monthly Plan or Prepay Plan $11 or above at the time you win to claim a Prize. Plans with Unlimited Max speed data are only eligible for Non-Data Prizes. Some Data Piñata are only available to whack at a specific location or at a specific time.
4. If during the Data Piñata Party Period you:
   1. are resident in New Zealand and are aged 18 and over (if you are under the age of 18 years you must have your parent or legal guardian’s permission to enter the promotion); and
   2. have an active 2degrees Consumer Pay Monthly plan or Prepay Plan $11 or above; and
   3. follow the steps set out in paragraph 6 below; and
   4. play Data Piñata Party available at datapinata.nz, you will be eligible to randomly win:
      1. your random share of data (Data Prize) (redeemable in the Data Clock App); and
      2. up to one of a limited number of Samsung prizes (Samsung Prize);  and
      3. up to one of 3900 $20 The Warehouse online store coupons which will be located in selected Warehouse stores (Warehouse Coupon), (Samsung Prize and Warehouse Coupon together, the Non-Data Prizes).
5. At the end of the Data Piñata Party Period,  you will be eligible to win a bonus Data Prize  of 1 week of data (redeemable in the Data Clock App) if you collect all 19 of the Data Piñata Party’s in the Data Piñata Party collection (Data Piñata Party Collection) (excludes Bonus Piñatas which are not included in the Data Piñata Party Collection). 
6. To play Data Piñata Party you will need to:
   1. go to datapinata.nz;
   2. enter and confirm your 2degrees mobile number or play as a guest;
   3. enter the 6 digit authentication code sent to you by 2degrees;
   4. allow applicable permissions on your device so you can play the Data Piñata Party; and
   5. find and whack a Data Piñata Party to win a Prize – 2easy!
7. Winners of Prizes are selected randomly.
8. Once you have successfully whacked a Data Piñata Party you will need to go to the 2degrees Data Clock app to redeem your Data Prize. If you do not already have the Data Clock app, you will need to download it. You will need to make sure you have the latest version of the Data Clock app in order to redeem your Data Prize. In most cases, the Data Prize will be showing in the Data Clock app as soon as it is won, but in some cases may take up to 36 hours from winning your Data Prize.
9. You have 24 hours from either winning your Data Prize or your Data Prize showing in the Data Clock app (whichever is sooner) to begin using your Data Prize. Your Data Prize immediately expires after this 24 hour period and you will not be able to use it.
10. The full augmented reality experience of Data Piñata Party will only be available on selected devices which have sufficient camera quality and processing speeds. For devices which are not sufficient, Data Piñata Party will just automatically go to Data Prize confirmation. For devices which are sufficient, you will still need to allow applicable permissions in order to have the full augmented reality experience.
11. If you are not a 2degrees consumer customer, you can still play Data Piñata Party, but you will not be eligible to receive a Prize if you did not meet requirements set out in paragraph 4 above at the time you won. Any Prize shown as a potential win or a win prior to meeting those requirements set out in paragraph 4 above will not be eligible for redemption.
12. You may only play once per day and win a maximum of one Prize per day, per customer. That one Prize may either be a Data Prize, Samsung Prize or a Warehouse Coupon. If you win a Samsung Prize and a Warehouse Coupon all further Prizes you win will be Data Prizes.
13. To claim your Samsung Prize go to 2dredeem.co.nz/datapinata and enter the redemption code that was sent to your mobile. You must redeem your Samsung Prize by 21 February 2025 or it will be immediately forfeited and donated to charity. Your Non-Data Prize may take up to 21 days to be shipped to the address provided – no PO Boxes.
14. To redeem a Warehouse Coupon, simply copy the coupon code and enter at the online checkout at https://www.thewarehouse.co.nz/. Warehouse Coupons are valid for online purchases only and cannot be redeemed instore. Warehouse Coupons expire 21 February 2025. A minimum $20 purchase required to use a Warehouse Coupon. Warehouse Coupons cannot be used for shipping or click and collect fees. If your order exceeds the amount of your Warehouse Coupon, you must pay for the balance with an accepted method of payment. Only one Warehouse Coupon can be redeemed per transaction. Usual terms and conditions apply (see Terms and conditions (thewarehouse.co.nz). The Warehouse Coupon may not be used or combined with other vouchers, coupons, promotions, or special offers. Warehouse Coupons are non-refundable, non-returnable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
15. Each Prize:
    1. can only be used or delivered (as applicable) in New Zealand;
    2. in the case of a Data Prize, is a one-off continuous data session;
    3. is not transferrable or exchangeable; and
    4. cannot be sold (in the case of a Warehouse Coupon) nor taken as cash or any other form of value.
16. 2degrees’ Fair Use Policy applies to each Data Prize. Max speeds will reduce to 1mbps after 40GB/m, per person. At reduced speeds, your experience will be impacted.
17. 2degrees reserves the right to cancel or amend Data Piñata Party at any time.
18. 2degrees Business customers are excluded from Data Piñata Party.
19. You are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions at the time in which you play Data Piñata Party.
20. Our Privacy Policy applies to any personal information collected for the purposes of Data Piñata Party.
21. 2degrees and the Warehouse and any other agencies associated with this promotion will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which may be sustained, directly or indirectly, or for any personal injury suffered or sustained by any entrant or prize winner in connection with any product purchased for this competition or any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
