$60 Carryover Pay Month Plan and $30 Carryover Group Plan price increases

Why is the price of my plan going up?

We’re always lifting the hood on our plans and services to look for better ways to keep our customers connected.

That’s why we’re making some changes to your Pay Monthly plan and any associated Group Plans to pack in even more value. It’s all part of our fight for fair.

What is changing?

To make sure you’re getting the best value in town, we’re supersizing your plan with an extra 64GB Carryover data, increasing from 16GB to 80GB per month. Your price is also changing by $5, increasing from $60 to $65 per month.

If you have any $30 Carryover Group Plans, all members of the group will also receive a data increase to 80GB Carryover data per month, and an increase by $5 per member to the $40 per month Group Plan.

When is it changing?

The extra 64GB of Carryover data for you and each of your group plan members will kick in from your next bill after 7 March. Your new price of $65 per month for your leader plan and $35 per month for your group member plans will then start from your first bill after 16 April 2025.

Does the price increase apply to all plans?

The $5 per month increase applies to the $60 Carryover Pay Monthly plan, increasing to $65. And the $30 Carryover Group Plan, increasing to $35 per group plan.

Can I change my leader plan to another mobile plan?

Yes, you can change your leader plan to another Pay Monthly plan. If you are wanting to keep group plans, make sure you are on an eligible leader plan or you may need to change any current group plans as well. Browse through our mobile plans to see what’s available and would suit. You can change plans via our Mobile App, or online at My 2degrees.

Can I change any group plans I have?

Yes, you can now mix ‘n match any group plan members to another group plan. If the $35 Carryover Group Plan isn’t right, we have a $30 Group Plan with 10GB Carryover data instead. You can change your current group plans via our Mobile App, or online at My 2degrees.

If I don't want to pay more, can I cancel my plan?

We’d be sad to see you go, but we get that price increases are tough and understand if you want to cancel.

If you're thinking of cancelling your mobile plan, you'll need to give us a call on 200 from your 2degrees mobile, 0800 022 022 from any New Zealand phone, or +64 22 200 2000 from overseas.

If you terminate your existing plan or change to another plan at any time, you will be liable for all charges, including your monthly plan fee, up to your next billing date. For example, if you terminated your plan on 20 April and your billing date was 30 April, you’d be charged your monthly plan fee, and any other charges you incur, up to 30 April.

No discounts will be repayable if you change to a lower priced plan or cancel your plan due to the price increase in the next month.

Do I need to make any changes to my automatic bill payment?

If 2degrees have set up the automatic payment for you, via either Direct Debit or Credit Card payment, there’s nothing you need to do. When the time comes, we’ll automatically deduct the correct increased amount.

If you’ve set up an automatic payment directly with your bank, you’ll need to update the payment amount to include an extra $5 for your plan, and an additional $5 for any group member plan, since we can’t do this on your behalf.
