We’re all about offering our customers easy ways to get connected, which is why with 2degrees you have the option to choose the interest-free repayment period that suits your needs.
If you’d like to get a mobile phone or device as soon as possible, but don’t have the cash to pay right now, you can opt to pay for your phone and phone plan on interest-free monthly installments.
Step 1. Choose your device from our fantastic range of phones and iPads.
Step 2. Check out the interest-free repayment options available for your chosen phone, and then choose your term - either 12, 24 or 36 consecutive monthly payments.
- 12 months – available on all current Pay Monthly plans, larger monthly amounts, paid off quicker
- 24 months – available on all current Pay Monthly plans
- 36 months – available on all current Pay Monthly plans, smaller monthly amounts, for longer.
Step 3: You’ll see a minimum up-front deposit that you will need to pay upon sign-up. Select the upfront cost that you’re comfortable paying. For most interest-free options, the upfront amount will be $29. You can increase this amount, which will slightly decrease your monthly repayment amount.
Step 4: Choose which monthly plan suits your calling, text and data needs.
Step 5: Add the phone and plan to your cart.
Step 6: We’ll grab a few details from you. Select your preferred payment type and we’ll get you up and running with your new phone.
To keep things easy, the monthly repayments will be added to your monthly bill in addition to your plan charges.
Can I pay off my interest-free phone early?
You sure can. If you’d like to pay off your interest-free phone, give our friendly Customer Care team a call with your credit card handy and they’ll let you know the remaining balance and charge it to your account.

If I make changes to my plan, what happens to my interest-free mobile repayment option?
If you terminate your plan, switch to Prepay, opt out, or transfer the ownership of your account then you'll need to pay the total balance outstanding remaining to be paid for your phone or device.
If you downgrade your plan to a non-eligible plan, you may need to pay the total balance outstanding on your handset.
In addition to the above, there may also be other applicable charges that result from any changes to your plan. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions page for more information on the conditions and charges that apply to your plan.
I’m on a Pay Monthly plan, how do I get an interest-free phone?
We’ve made it easy to get your hands on an interest-free phone. You can visit our online shop, log in to My 2degrees, check it out on the 2degrees App, head into a 2degrees store, or ask at selected retailers that sell 2degrees phones. Or, give our Telesales team a call on 0800 022 055 (8am–6pm).
I’m on a Business plan, how do I get an interest-free phone?
If you'd like to add a phone to your current plan and pay it off interest-free you can fill out the Business Contact Us form and your local Business Sales Consultant will be in touch. Or give us a call on 0800 022 249 and we’ll put you in touch with your Sales Consultant or arrange for a call back.
